Empty the Deleted Items folder

To permanently delete the contents of the Deleted Items folder:

1. In the Navigation Pane, point inside the All Folders box.
2. Right-click, then click Empty Deleted Items Folder.
3. Click Yes.

Tips

• If the Navigation Pane is not visible, on the View menu, click Navigation Pane.
• To recover a deleted document from the Deleted Items folder: before emptying the folder, move the document to another folder.
